Lauren Welch
Lauren Welch is a graduate from the Photographic Department at Randolph Community College. There, she recieved professional training in Commericial, Portrait, Photojourn, and Bio-Medical Photography. She enjoys all aspects of photography and plans to keep active in a career with endless possibilites by working freelance in the community.
Lauren is a photojournalist at heart, she has always dreamed of helping people through her work. Thus, she currently works at Duke Eye Center as an Ophthalmic Photographer where she gets the opprotunity to work with doctors and patients to document and diagnos eye pathology. The job has brought her face to face with new advancments in technology that change our everyday lives in healthcare.
